Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with a variety of clients from start-ups to recognisable organisations
  • Listen to client problems and defining strategies and solutions
  • Get to know our client’s businesses, their strengths, and opportunities for improvements
  • Help our clients plan and deliver organisation-wide transformation programmes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business
  • Evaluate client data and markets to develop effective and practical solutions
  • Accurately and precisely defining and delivering consulting assignments as required either as a whole project or in phases as required
  • Understand client’s business objectives and needs and building these into tangible strategies and solutions
  • Create, assimilate, and convey material in a concise and effective manner
  • Work flexibly on multiple assignments and effectively manage time and priorities
  • Build strong relationships with clients and developing “on sale” opportunities
  • Build networks within the business community and building the brand of Where Now Consulting Ltd
  • Compile and analysing quantitative and qualitative data as required using modern and traditional techniques
  • Manage time to ensure delivery of projects to clients in a timely fashion

What to expect:

We are looking for a talented graduate to join our team. The candidate will ideally have a financial or business degree. You will work in close collaboration with Where Now’s clients, Directors, and other consultants to build and implement effective growth strategies and operational plans through acquisitions, joint ventures, alliance partnerships, sales and channel management and market and product expansion. With a good understanding of strategies for growth you will be able to support effective business change programs for both large and medium sized companies and organisations.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a recent graduate that has an interest in business consultancy. You will be highly motivated and have the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team.

You will also need:

  • BA degree in business, ideally in finance, international trade, or economics of marketing
  • Be expected to qualify in core areas of our activities in line with skills and career aspirations including CIMA, Chartered institute of marketing, Corporate Finance Institute, IFA or similar
  • Strong language skills in English (an additional language would be advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret data, information, and financial reports
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Be self-motivated
  • Willingness, as required, to travel

Location:

  • The role will be a hybrid working role in the Glasgow region, sometimes working from home, at the office or on client sites

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £18,000 – £24,000
