Scotland urged to invest in nuclear to hit climate goals

An inquiry by the Royal Society of Edinburgh has revealed an increase in low-carbon electricity production is needed to reach the goal of net zero emissions by 2045. To meet these goals Scotland should consider investing in new nuclear power station, hydrogen and installing new wind farms.

Free desk space and support available in Manchester for start-ups that benefit communities

Start-ups in Manchester have the opportunity to receive free desk space and support if they use technology to support communities to co-operate, encourage innovation or boost people’s health, well-being or skills. Support is being provided by the Co-op Foundation, through a grant from Luminate,  part of The Omidyar Group.
