Official figures show labour productivity in Scotland increased by 1.1% between January and March, with growth in output per hour worked increasing 0.4% compared to the same period in 2018.

Scottish unemployment rises, ONS figures say

Unemployment in Scotland has risen by 0.4%, remaining below the UK as a whole as figures from the Office for National Statistics showed the number of people unemployed in Scotland rose from 3.2% to 3.6% in the period from April to June.

Finger scan tech set for Manchester
