Scotland’s private sector economy experienced stagnation in July as manufacturing output fell and services expansion weakened, according to the Royal Bank of Scotland’s latest Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) report.

Government in trade missions call to Northern Powerhouse businesses

Businesses in the Northern Powerhouse region are being urged to register for the first of four new ‘premier’ trade missions by the Department for International Trade (DIT). These missions will see groups of delegates, who will be chosen for leadership and innovation in their sectors, visiting multiple locations where they will be introduced to potential partners and receive country specific advice.
