Scotland Create Infrastructure Commission to build 30 year strategy
The Scottish Government has established a new Infrastructure Commission for Scotland, a 30 year strategy which aims to advise on infrastructure improvements such as transport, energy, water, broadband and telecoms.
BT Group contributes £1.6bn to the north west economy
According to a new study, BT has contributed £1.6 billion to the north west economy. It supports the equivalent of 20,700 full time jobs in the region through direct and contract employment.
1000 jobs could be created at huge new Leicestershire logistics park
Development on the £30 million logistics park in Leicestershire is to start his summer and is expected to create nearly 1000 new jobs and provide a £48 million boost to the local economy.
