Architects of the New Scottish Economy

On October 31st Where Now Consulting was delighted to support the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Annual Conference. The theme of the conference was the “Architects of the New Scottish Economy”.

 

 

The delegates were treated to high quality and impactful speeches and discussions on a wide range of topics including; the impact future trends in automation will have on the Scottish economy (FutureIQ), demographic challenges, future skills needs, talent pool, productivity and sector needs (Skills Development Scotland), and the challenges facing employers in terms of staff recruitment and retention and how to tackle them (Salesforce).

As part of the conference, Where Now Consulting ran a workshop on getting in the mindset for growth in which we discussed Scottish company performance in relation to the rest of the UK, and action that the delegates had experiences with driving growth.
